Ask Why โ And Don't Stop
The entire note is two lines:
"Ask โฆ why? And don't stop at understanding but ask more whys, to see if there's a way to make life easy for all.
Catch yourself if you find yourself justifying existing ways."
That's it. But sit with the second line, because it's the load-bearing one. Most whys terminate in a justification of the status quo โ "that's how it's done," "people won't accept it," "the system needs it." The moment you hear yourself defending an existing way as if it were a law of physics, you've found the exact spot to keep digging.
How it plays out here
- Why do meetings fail the silent? โ Why do we accept that the loudest decide? โ Why do we accept meetings at all? (AI as a Neutral Party)
- Why do creators chase controversy? โ Why do we consume emotional waves? โ what do we migrate to when we burn out? (A Vision for a Fearless Economy)
- Why am I unhappy? โ who is the "I"? โ what happens when it relaxes? (Meditation and the Ego)
